A quietly gorgeous human being...with a plan.

Frazer always was the quieter one. I mean to compete with a noisy demanding older sister like Nuala was always going to be tough.

Frazer however is not in his sister’s shadow and has his own very strong lane. First off, he is good at pretty much everything he tries and has a knack for understanding how the world works. I don’t mean averagely good, I mean really good. But as a modest guy, he doesn’t acknowledge this side of him.

He is also a software developer in London… yes he really does have one of those top developer jobs every computer science graduate with a first dreams of. (Ok, look… I am his mum, and if I cannot brag about my son’s achievements then who can huh?)

So… Frazer is the academically clever one (Yes, Nuala is clever too, but you get what I mean) the computer guy… you know, the one in the family who gets all the tech related problems even when he doesn’t have a clue!

So, back to the computer guy stuff. I don’t want to say too much, you know how things can change, but he has recently developed a very nice little RPG game… he has plans… he wants to see the world…and I will support him every step of the way…

D-Day Arrives!

Up at 7, we packed his stuff into boxes and bags. I have to admit there was more than I expected. To move someone out who has lived in one place for 15 years is quite a momentous task in so many ways. I leave a message for the police so that they are aware.…

Pre D-Day

Wednesday 9the September 2020 it was confirmed that both children would be coming by train to arrive at 9pm (after his bedtime) and we are going out for a late meal. He knows my son is coming but not my daughter, so she will sleep with me on Wednesday evening. My mum has offered boxes…

A decision is made

A little later, after a few conversations and a lot of rumination I finally decided that I could take it no longer and I started to plan my escape… I spoke to my son today. He is usually highly non-confrontational, quiet studious type and yet he offeredto come home from London and help me to…
