Nuala

Charting Nuala’s musical journey

Nuala has always been talented. Ask anyone who knows her. She has the most incredible singing voice and writes songs that really mean things to people.

She is at her best when playing her own music, whether that is live, or through her weekly lockdown livestreams.

She is in her own lane…and that seems to scare the industry. If you don’t fit a particular genre, they don’t know what to do with you. But of course, only unique artists truly become great stars…

Then…

Just over a week ago, she was on the Clubhoue App showcasing her music, and this guy from America says…hey you are great, lets talk about working together.

So, they talk, and he brings in his mate, and they talk more, and lots of really exciting stuff is said so we go….ok, what’s the angle?

But…it seems that this might just be real…

Because as of today, 21/02/2021 my daughter has received a music contract. It needs to be checked out by a music lawyer….but….maybe, just maybe her time has come…

Update – She has signed…now let’s see what happens

Pre D-Day

Wednesday 9the September 2020 it was confirmed that both children would be coming by train to arrive at 9pm (after his bedtime) and we are going out for a late meal. He knows my son is coming but not my daughter, so she will sleep with me on Wednesday evening. My mum has offered boxes…

A decision is made

A little later, after a few conversations and a lot of rumination I finally decided that I could take it no longer and I started to plan my escape… I spoke to my son today. He is usually highly non-confrontational, quiet studious type and yet he offeredto come home from London and help me to…
